Diana mini´s second roll

Never predictable,
never repeatable,
never perfect,
always perfectly beautiful.

That is what you get when you take your Diana mini out to play.
This is from my second roll of film, cheap drugstore film, 200 iso.
Shot indoor, set to bulb mode, handheld.

Diana mini love

Here are a few pictures from the diana mini. I used the cheapest film I could find cause I am still trying to figure out what I do. It was some drugstore colorfilm 200 iso. I do like how those turned out. I am really looking forward to experimenting with different situations, films, light and exposure time.

Balloons, wind and sunshine

We had a little shooting at the Elbe. Sunshine and wind made
the day very special. Fun was had by all.

Black and white kitchen

Welcome to my new favourite place in my brand new home. This is a shelf we put up today in our kitchen. I just love how this looks next to those vintage doorframes.
I have had a crush on everything black and white for quite some time now and couldn't wait to get some black and white decorating done in our new home.

Another corner in our kitchen. A simple clock, an old chalkboard
a black featehr and vintage strainer and ladle made from enamel.

My metal four has found it's new home on the
radiator – for now at least.

Welcome diana mini

Isn't she cute? My new white diana mini. I can't believe how tiny she is. She is the perfect companion to take with me in my bag wherever I go.

The first few rolls of film have been shot and developed, but not scanned yet. I am so very curious as to how the pictures turn out.
What I really like about this little gem, is that I can decide if I want to shoot square pics of if I want to shoot half frame and that way get far more pics on one roll of film.
I find shooting film to be so much more fun than digital (right now *LOL). It's exciting to wait for your pictures to come back from developing to see how your shots have turned out. It's a totally different game than digital shooting where I tend to shoot a trillion shots of one subject, just cause I can.

Balloons are more fun when the wind is blowing

This is Hamburg the way I love it... The sun is shining, wind is blowing, the water is showing off it's muddy color. And all I can think is: Ahhh, this is so pretty. I had a great time shooting these 2 beauties by the water. Balloons and all.
How is this for some autumn mood?

The cutest house

Speicherstadt Hamburg, some sunday afternoon, we are going for a walk when this little gem catches my eye. Isn't it absolutely the cutest house ever? I wish I could actually ring the bell and ask for a tour. I imagine the rooms to be full of gorgeous old furniture with frills and loads of beautiful details. I can actually hear the floorboards squeaking in my imagination, hear the wind howling in the cold winter months to come. But that wouldn't bother me, cause I'd be sitting in front of the fire, cup of tea in my hand, reading a crime story.

Black and white love

I am totally loving black and white at the moment. This is part of my kitchen decoration right now. A healthy mix of useful and pretty.
For our new home I plan having far more black and white in my home. I do like the fact that black and white is very stylish and sophisticated – but quietly so.
