FACADES OF VENICE

Never will I forget laying eyes on Venice for the first time.
Colourful facades soft as a powder puff would make me want to
touch every stone I walked by.
Reflections would play with the sun and
make me think of a thousand diamonds hidden in
the canals, softly illuminating walls and faces.
Our 13 year old footsteps excitedly echoing the alleyways,
turning left, turning right, finding new wonders in
every direction.

And now I am coming back, retracing those steps.

PAINFUL SILENCE

The silence between us seems to seep into every pore, crawling under my skin,
leaving me feel hurt and confused. I can only hear the voices inside my head,
remembering all those beautiful moments, getting lost on the roads to
the past. A past that holds so many happy words and laughter. A past
that knew no sadness. A past that is just that – past.

IMAGINE

    If you can imagine it,
    you can archive it;
    if you can dream it,
    you can become it.

    LIKE LEAVES

Each has his past shut in him like leaves of a
book known to him by his heart,
and his friends can only read the title.

    SHINE ME SOME HAPPINESS

Breathing in bright rays of light that come visiting this morning. I let them tickle my winter skin
and brighten up the quiet sadness of the endless darkness. Drinking in the golden glow in
urgent gulps, embracing every spec of glittering dust dancing in the newfound brightness.
Pushing away every thought, just be, feeling lost in the bright glow.

    Diana mini love

Here are a few pictures from the diana mini. I used the cheapest film I could find cause I am still trying to figure out what I do. It was some drugstore colorfilm 200 iso. I do like how those turned out. I am really looking forward to experimenting with different situations, films, light and exposure time.

    Welcome diana mini

Isn't she cute? My new white diana mini. I can't believe how tiny she is. She is the perfect companion to take with me in my bag wherever I go.

The first few rolls of film have been shot and developed, but not scanned yet. I am so very curious as to how the pictures turn out.
What I really like about this little gem, is that I can decide if I want to shoot square pics of if I want to shoot half frame and that way get far more pics on one roll of film.
I find shooting film to be so much more fun than digital (right now *LOL). It's exciting to wait for your pictures to come back from developing to see how your shots have turned out. It's a totally different game than digital shooting where I tend to shoot a trillion shots of one subject, just cause I can.
