Passing the time

We are on our way to Denmark for a week of relaxation. I am so

looking forward to sauna and jacuzzi. Long walks by the sea and 

bike rides along pretty country lanes. 

Right now we still have quite a journey ahead of us and I am 

Passing the time drawing and watching the landscape fly by.

This is a drawing for a flickr friend. 

I meant to send it ages and ages ago, but

Life just got in the way. But we are having 

A long weekend and I used the spare time to

actually sit down at my table and draw. 

ZUGVÖGEL

Kalter Wind pustet durch jede noch so kleine Ritze, böig und kalt bläst der Wind die feinen Sandkörner vor sich her. Vertreibt jede Wärme aus meinen Händen und treibt mir Tränen in die Augen. Wellen peitschen Gischt vor sich her. Herbst an der See, ich kann verstehen, dass die Vögel nah Süden ziehen, denn es ist ungemütlich. Ungemütlich aber schön.
