I am starting a new thing - a monthly typo mood board. 

Kind of like a one word diary of happenings, thoughts, feelings, 

places or what not that moved me at the time.

We are on our way to Denmark for a week of relaxation. I am so

looking forward to sauna and jacuzzi. Long walks by the sea and 

bike rides along pretty country lanes. 

Right now we still have quite a journey ahead of us and I am

Ink for a Flickr friend

This is a drawing for a flickr friend. 

I meant to send it ages and ages ago, but

Life just got in the way. But we are having 

A long weekend and I used the spare time to

actually sit down at my table and draw.

Traveler's Notebook and Kaweco Al Sport

Heute brachte mir der Postbote ein wenig Freude und ein klein
wenig Sonnenschein in den sonst so tristen und verschnupften Tag.
Ein Paar handgefertigter Sandalen aus Bella Italia, für meine Füße,
für diesen Sommer. Diesen Sommer, der sich nicht so richtig traut,
sich vorzustellen, der den kalten Frühling noch nicht vertreiben mag.
Ich hingegen kann es garnicht erwarten endlich barfuß über
Rasen zu gehen, die Abende im Kerzenschein unter der alten Magnolie
zu verbringen, leise Musik im Hintergrund, ein Glas Weißwein in der
Hand. Hoffentlich bald.

Illustrations imm cologne 2013

I illustrated the walls for a café at the imm cologne 2013.

The illustration are all hand drawn with my trusty kaweco al sport.

I used noodler's bulletproof black ink. First I drew all the separate parts of 

the wallpaper, then scanned them and later arranged them digitally. 

I had a lot of fun with this project and really wish I could 

spend every day like this. Drawing from morning until late at

night, listening to music and drinking loads of tea while doing so.
